TECHNIQUE & FINDINGS
To make them I used a traditional Japanese braiding technique called Kumihimo (“gathered threads”). It’s the time-consuming technique but results that can be achieved through it are stunning. A piece of wire inside a braid makes the bangle flexible but keeps the shape so you can adjust it to your wrist. The unique pattern involves using a complex sequence of movement and constant concentration but the ending effect is worth it!
The bangle is finished with caps, a lobster and has an extension chain.
SURGICAL STEEL
Surgical stainless steel has a hypoallergic formula and it’s not the same as alpaca or cheap metal! Unlike silver or gold, it does not require maintenance, cleaning and care, so you can enjoy its beauty and gloss without much effort. The surface is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. The components don’t start to smell or tarnish after time.
PACKAGING
The bangle is packed in an eco-friendly craft box with black paper and jute inside. Perfect for a gift for the loved one.
Beverly Dyer –
I bought this as a Christmas present for a close friend. It was so beautiful I was reluctant to give it away. My friend was absolutely delighted with it
